Breeding Members

Choosing a breeder is an important step whether you are looking for a pet, show cat or and addition to your own breeding program.

BRO recommends that you visit your breeders cattery, ask lots of questions and make sure you are clear as to what the conditions of purchasing are. Will it be registered with papers or is it a pet kitten? Do you have to desex before the papers will be released? Do you have permission to breed your new cat? Do you have to return the cat if you can no longer provide it a home?

Make sure you are clear on the cats medical history including it's vaccination records. The breeder can also give you the cats show history (if it has been shown).
